My project involved creating a viral marketing campaign in the music industry.
Musicians are always using new techniques to grab the audience's attention and experimenting with new ideas. For example the band Arcade Fire produced an interactive music video for their track Neon Bible.
Radiohead released their album online free for download. They gave consumers an opportunity to donate money, but it could be downloaded free. Whether Radiohead made a profit on this is questionable, but the whole campaign created a huge buzz, increasing the bands profile.
Based on these ideas, I decided to produce a video mixer, enabling the user to mix their own music video for the track Eternal Optimist by High Contrast.
